Celina Jaitly has expressed her support for her detained brother, Vikrant Jaitly, who has refused to contact her. In a recent Instagram post, Celina stated that her brother might be trying to shield her from further strain.

The Delhi High Court dismissed Celina's petition to meet her brother, who has been in detention in the UAE since September 2024. Celina believes that her brother's decision to refuse contact is due to his protective nature and limited access to information.

She emphasized that her intention was never to prioritize her own concerns but to ensure her brother's safety, legal protection, and dignity. Celina remains committed to standing by her brother and ensuring he receives proper legal representation.

Vikrant Jaitly, a retired Indian Army officer, has been detained in the UAE for over 18 months without formal proceedings or direct communication with his family.
