Bollywood filmmaker Anil Sharma has worked with the late veteran actor Dharmendra on several films, including Hukumat, Apne, and more. In a recent conversation, Anil recalled his last meeting with Dharmendra, where the legendary actor urged him to write a powerful role for his comeback. He shared how Dharmendra's passing led to an outpouring of love on social media, with people from around the world celebrating his life and work. During his final meeting with Anil in September, Dharmendra expressed his desire to continue working in films. 'The camera is my love,' he said, 'it's calling me.' Anil promised to write a role for him, unaware that their next collaboration would be cut short. 'He still loved cinema so much,' Anil remembered, 'it was never business for him; it was his passion.' Dharmendra and Anil have worked together on several successful films, including Hukumat and Apne. The filmmaker has also collaborated with Dharmendra's sons, Sunny and Bobby Deol, on projects like Gadar: Ek Prem Katha and Singh Saab The Great. Dharmendra passed away on November 24 at the age of 89, leaving behind his wives Hema Malini and Prakash Kaur, and six children, including Sunny and Bobby Deol.
