Bollywood legend Dharmendra passed away on November 24, leaving behind an unfulfilled wish. In his final meeting with director Anil Sharma, Dharmendra requested, 'Write a role that will make me shine.' Sharma, who worked with Dharmendra in films like Hukumat and Apne, shared this heartwarming story in a recent interview. The two had a close bond, with Sharma being a close friend of the Deol family. In September, Sharma visited Dharmendra at his home, where the actor was surrounded by fans and family. Dharmendra, still enthusiastic about acting, met Sharma and asked him to write a role for him. Sharma remembered Dharmendra saying, 'I want to do something. The camera is my lover, and it's calling me. Write a good role for me.' This was not the first time Dharmendra expressed his desire to act, as he had shot his last film, Ikkis, just weeks before his 90th birthday. The film, a posthumous release, is set to hit theaters on December 25. Meanwhile, the script of Apne 2 is being reworked as a tribute to the late superstar. Dharmendra's fans are eagerly waiting to see him on the big screen again in Ikkis, alongside Amitabh Bachchan's grandson and Akshay Kumar's niece.
