The latest instalment in the Dhurandhar saga, The Revenge, is a film of two halves. The first half moves briskly, with director Aditya Dhar ensuring the intrigue rarely dips. However, the world-building, which felt so rooted in reality in Dhurandhar, appears slightly less assured this time.

The narrative occasionally relies on convenience, with a few visible loopholes that momentarily pull you out of the experience. But just when it begins to feel like the film is slipping, it regains control. The second half delivers with far more confidence, and the climax ensures you walk out after an ovation.

Ranveer Singh carries the film with his committed performance, switching between the two characters with amazing ease. He gets it right throughout. Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, and R Madhavan also deliver solid performances.

While the music by Shashwat Sachdev isn't as good as the first part, the background score adds a lot of weight, especially in the climax. Overall, Dhurandhar: The Revenge is a winner, justifying why this story was stretched into a two-part saga.
