Director Mani Ratnam has announced his next film, starring Vijay Sethupathi and Sai Pallavi, with AR Rahman composing the music.
The film, produced by Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions, marks the second collaboration between Sethupathi and Ratnam after Chekka Chivantha Vaanam (2018).
Rahman's involvement in the project comes amid rumors that Sai Abhyankkar was initially set to compose the music.
Sethupathi has a busy slate of upcoming projects, including Jailer 2, Train, Slum Dog: 33 Temple Road, and Arasan, while Sai Pallavi has numerous projects lined up, including her Bollywood debut in Ek Din and Ramayana: Part 1 and 2.
