The Michael Jackson biopic is on course to become the highest-grossing film of the year, raking in over $226 million globally in its first four days.
Starring Jaafar Jackson as the pop icon, the film had a stellar opening, minting over $217 million worldwide.
It collected $97 million in the US and Canada in its opening weekend, the best for any biopic in film history.
The film has added $7.67 million to its domestic collection on Monday, taking its total to over $104 million.
Overseas, the film has been an even bigger success, collecting $122 million outside of North America in the first four days.
According to trade insiders, the film appears to have enough legs to push for a billion-dollar run, making it the highest-grossing film of the year and the first biopic to earn $1 billion.
