Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is set to star alongside National Award-winning actors Parth Bhalerao and Teesha Thosar in director Kushagra Sharma's upcoming film Faraar. The heist thriller, which also features critically acclaimed actress Nimisha Sajayan, promises to be a culturally rich and globally inspired project. Sharma, who has previously showcased his skills in short films like Guilt (2022), which won at the Paris Film Fest, revealed that the film's storyline is deeply rooted in scientific principles of Physics. "Every concept in the heist thriller is based on principles of Physics, which the professor character applies," he explained. The film's cast and crew boast a diverse range of talents, including Thai action director Kecha Khamphakdee, known for big-ticket Indian films like Jawan (2023) and Pushpa. Sharma aims to create a global film that transcends language barriers and cultural differences, drawing inspiration from films like Chak De! India (2007). Nawazuddin will play a Physics professor, while Parth will portray his student. Teesha, the youngest National Award winner, will play Nawazuddin's daughter. The film's background score is composed by Iván Lacámara, who has also composed his first Hindi song for the project. Sharma's next project will continue to adopt a global approach, with a big-scale, multi-starrer film set in a fictional world connected to a strong mythological base. The film promises to be an exciting addition to the world of Indian cinema, with its unique blend of science, culture, and action.
