The Pawan Kalyan-led actioner, Ustaad Bhagat Singh, has found itself in a box office clash with Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar 2. According to Sacnilk, the film collected ₹9.25 crore on day 2, with an overall occupancy of 36.0 per cent, and a total collection of ₹44.00 crore in India.
The numbers suggest that the film's momentum has been dented due to the clash with Dhurandhar 2, which recorded an occupancy of around 35 per cent in the region with a limited release of just 700 shows. The Telugu-dubbed version of Dhurandhar 2 earned ₹1.30 crore on day 2, while its nationwide collection for the day stood at ₹80.72 crore.
Ustaad Bhagat Singh, directed by Harish Shankar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, stars Pawan Kalyan in the titular role and is a remake of Vijay's Tamil hit Theri.
