Actor Rana Daggubati has broken his silence on being questioned by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) in the ongoing betting app case. At the launch of his liquor brand Loca Loca in Mumbai, Rana emphasized that he has always followed the due process and expressed confidence in the Indian legal system. Rana was questioned by the SIT in November in connection with a case against alleged connections between online betting apps and illegal betting. The actor maintained that the legalities will take their due course and that he will abide by the law of the land. Rana also addressed how he associates his name with products, stating that the quality and fairness of the product are his top priorities. This is not the first time Rana has spoken about the online betting case. In November, he had briefly addressed his involvement with betting apps, saying that he would use the right channels to communicate about gaming and gaming apps once the legalities are resolved. The SIT, established by the Telangana government, is working to curb illegal betting activities. Earlier this year, the Telangana police filed FIRs against 25 celebrities and influencers, including Rana, for allegedly promoting illegal betting and gambling apps through social media. Rana's involvement in the case has sparked controversy, but he remains committed to cooperating with the authorities and spreading awareness about responsible gaming practices.
