The spy thriller, Dhurandhar 2, starring Ranveer Singh, has crossed the ₹450 crore mark at the domestic box office. According to Sacnilk, the film collected ₹114.85 crore net in India on Sunday, taking its total domestic collection to ₹454.12 crore net and counting.
This achievement surpasses the domestic collection of Aamir Khan's Dangal, which held the all-time record for seven years, as well as Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Prabhas and SS Rajamouli's Baahubali.
The film had a massive opening of ₹102.55 crore on Thursday, followed by ₹80.72 crore on Friday, and ₹113 crore on Saturday. It is projected to do better than Saturday with a 77.4% occupancy from 8326 shows.
Celebrities have divided opinions on the film, with some praising its 'spectacular' and 'patriotism with swag' aspects, while others have criticized it for being 'propaganda'.
