Ranveer Singh's spy thriller Dhurandhar continues to soar at the box office, marking its sixth day with impressive numbers. The film, directed by Aditya Dhar and starring Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, and R Madhavan, has surpassed the lifetime collection of Aamir Khan's Sitaare Zameen Par, raking in ₹274.25 crore worldwide. The film, which began with a ₹28.60 crore opening, has seen a steady growth in numbers, with ₹33.10 crore and ₹44.80 crore collected over the weekend. The weekdays have seen a consistent influx of ₹24.60 crore, ₹28.60 crore, and ₹29.30 crore on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, respectively. According to Sacnilk, the overseas collection stands at ₹58 crore in six days, with the film's total worldwide collection now exceeding ₹274 crore. This achievement makes Dhurandhar the latest addition to Ranveer Singh's box office successes, with the next target being ₹300 crore. The film's storyline revolves around real-life covert operations and geopolitical tensions between India and Pakistan, with Ranveer Singh playing the role of Hamza Ali Mazari, a spy infiltrating the crime cartel in Lyari, Pakistan. The film's ending leaves a hint of a sequel, with Dhurandhar 2 scheduled for release on March 19, 2026.
