Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has wrapped up filming for his highly anticipated war drama Battle of Galwan, a gripping retelling of India's 2020 Galwan Valley clash with Chinese troops. A behind-the-scenes selfie shared on Instagram gives fans a glimpse of the actor in Indian Army uniform alongside co-star Chitrangada Singh. The film is based on a chapter in Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh's bestselling book India's Most Fearless 3, which chronicles the real-life heroism of Indian soldiers. According to reports, Salman Khan is set to portray Colonel B Santosh Babu, a key figure in the Galwan Valley clash. The film, directed by Apoorva Lakhia, is expected to shed light on the lesser-known aspects of the 2020 standoff between Indian and Chinese troops in eastern Ladakh. Chitrangada Singh, who stars alongside Salman Khan, expressed her initial nervousness about joining the project due to the massive fan following of the actor. The film's release date has been scheduled for 2026. Salman Khan's last appearance on the big screen was in the film Sikandar, released on March 30. The actor is currently preparing for the grand finale of Bigg Boss 19, set to take place on December 7.
