Shilpa Shirodkar has stepped back into the spotlight with renewed energy and a clear message: she's hungry for more work and isn't afraid to ask for it. In a recent interview, the actor shared her candid thoughts on her professional journey and her approach to seeking out new projects.

Shilpa mentioned that she's currently working on a web series, another film, and is waiting for the official announcement of a third project. When asked about the importance of networking in the industry, she admitted that it's a necessary part of the profession and that she doesn't hesitate to reach out and ask for work when needed.

Shilpa explained that whenever she meets someone or has a contact, she tells them openly that she's looking for work – if there's something good, they should consider her. She believes that there's no harm in asking and that if someone wants to work and can help, they should at least know.

Shilpa Shirodkar is an Indian actress and former model who was a popular face in Hindi films from 1989 to 2000. After a 13-year hiatus, she made a comeback with Ek Mutthi Aasmaan (2013) and later participated in Bigg Boss 18 (2024). She has been married to Aparesh Ranjit since 2000 and has a daughter. Her sister, Namrata Shirodkar, is married to actor Mahesh Babu.

Shilpa was most recently seen in the role of an ayogini in Telugu film Jatadhara, which was directed by Venkat Kalyan and Abhishek Jaiswal. She is also working on her first OTT project now and will be seen in an upcoming web series Shankar– The Revolutionary Man.
