Actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna recently shared pictures from their Haldi ceremony, which was a fun-filled celebration of colours and music. The couple, who tied the knot on February 26, have been sharing glimpses from their pre-wedding festivities on social media. As they enjoy their marital bliss, let's take a trip down memory lane to the time Rashmika fought her parents to work with Vijay in their first film together, Geetha Govindam (2018).

Rashmika had shared at a pre-release event of their second film together, Dear Comrade (2019), that she had to convince her family to let her do the film. She said, 'I came to the film industry after fighting with my parents, family and friends. There's a perception that it's not safe for girls. I still persevered despite not having a film family background.'

Vijay had also shared his appreciation for Rashmika's dedication to their film, saying, 'Once Rashmika okayed it, I know how tough it was for her. She did it despite it affecting her personal life. People said whatever they felt like. But she gave her life for Lilly. I thank you, Rashmika; you've done such a beautiful job.'

Now, 7 years later, Rashmika and Vijay are enjoying their marital bliss and sharing fun moments from their Haldi ceremony. Rashmika wrote, 'Haldi. It was more like Haldi + Holi. We were drenched and dipped in colour so much so that even now my hair still carries a bit of red in it.'

Vijay shared, '25.02.26 Haldi day - The morning after a sangeeth celebration that ran late into early hours of morning. On another day waking up would have been impossible, but we were all up excited to see each other, excited to spend time with my family and friends.'

We wish Rashmika and Vijay a happily ever after!
