A former FBI agent has shared an update on the Nancy Guthrie case, stating that the FBI is making important progress in the investigation. According to TMZ's Harvey Levin, the FBI contacted him to explain that they had not accepted his offer to pay the ransom note writers due to the progress they were making.
Investigators believe that the notes demanding a ransom and a note sent in February stating that Nancy is dead are legitimate communications from the kidnapper. The second note had a different tone and came from the same electronic source as the first note.
A Mexican search organisation has discovered dozens of unmarked graves after receiving anonymous tips connected to the Nancy Guthrie case. However, the latest searches did not uncover any evidence linked to Savannah Guthrie's missing mother.
