Delegations from the US and Iran have arrived in Switzerland for the next round of negotiations, with Tehran stating that the key talking points will be the ceasefire in Lebanon and the sale of Iranian oil.
The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson, Esmail Baghaei, said that the ongoing Israeli strikes in Lebanon will be raised with the US, as a truce in the region was a key requirement of the 14-point peace agreement signed earlier this week.
Baghei added that waivers regarding the sale of Iranian oil and the release of Tehran's frozen assets will also be on the agenda.
The US is expected to focus on Iran's nuclear programme and enrichment of uranium, with inspectors to visit Iranian nuclear sites and assess the programme and enrichment.
Washington will also consider the release of a certain amount of Iran's frozen funds, starting with a $6 billion account in Qatar.
