Karmelo Anthony, the suspect in the fatal stabbing of Frisco student Austin Metcalf, has been found guilty in Collin County. As the verdict was announced, protestors gathered outside the courthouse in McKinney, Texas, accusing the jury of bias.

Clashes erupted between the protestors and police, with videos emerging showing chaos amid the clashes. The protestors, who charged in with posters saying 'Justice For Karmelo Anthony', were contained by police.

The trial, which lasted over three hours, heard testimonies from 21 witnesses, including fellow students who were present during the incident. Prosecutors argued that the murder was 'unjustified' and 'senseless', while Anthony's lawyer argued that his client acted in self-defense.

The jury has not yet decided on a sentence for the 19-year-old, who could face life imprisonment for first-degree murder in Texas.
