During Karmelo Anthony's murder trial, prosecutors showed jurors a four-minute video of his arrest, which included footage captured on a police officer's body camera.
The video shows Anthony holding his hands above his head while the officer radios that he has found the 'alleged suspect.'
Anthony, 19, was sentenced to 35 years in prison for the 2025 murder of Austin Metcalf, a high school student he was asked to leave a track meet for.
Anthony claimed he stabbed Metcalf in self-defense, but witnesses said he warned Metcalf, 'touch me and see what happens,' before pulling out a knife and stabbing him in the chest.
Metcalf died in his twin brother's arms, and Anthony has now been transferred to a Texas prison to begin his sentence.
