Karmelo Anthony's GiveSendGo fundraiser has been suspended after the 19-year-old from Texas was found guilty of fatally stabbing 17-year-old Austin Metcalf.

Anthony's family used the funds raised for 'living expenses' and relocation, not just legal defense, despite initial claims they bought a new house.

The fundraiser, titled 'Help Karmelo Official Fund,' raised around $634,000 out of its goal of $1.4 million.

Anthony has been sentenced to 35 years in jail for the fatal stabbing, which occurred at a high school track meet in 2025.
