Lyft users across the US reported issues with the app on Wednesday, with over 1100 users complaining of the problem on Down Detector. Hundreds of users also took to social media, claiming they were unable to enter addresses on the app.
Lyft acknowledged the issue, stating that their teams were working on a fix, but did not provide a clear timeline for when the issues would be resolved.
The app outage left many frustrated, with users expressing their discontent on social media. With approximately 25 million active riders in the US and Canada, Lyft is the largest ride booking platform after Uber.
