US President Donald Trump has changed his tune on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, referring to him as a 'warrior PM' after previously calling him 'fu****g crazy'. However, Israel's actions may undermine the Iran peace deal, according to a Washington Post report.

The US intelligence has warned the Trump administration of possible Israeli efforts to undermine a potential deal with Iran, citing internal pressure on Netanyahu to continue the Israeli offensive in Lebanon.

According to the 14-point memorandum of understanding between the US and Iran, the war has to end at all fronts, including Lebanon. However, Israel's military activity in Lebanon is reportedly for the sole purpose of defending Israeli citizens from continuous attacks by Hezbollah.

Netanyahu's elections fate in Israel depends on showing people that he will not withdraw troops from Lebanon, according to WaPo. If he chooses to strengthen the Israeli troops in Lebanon, he would only be hampering the US-Iran deal but also his relationship with Trump.

The MoU agreed upon between the US and Iran also includes Lebanon as part of the peace deal, committing both sides not to carry out hostile actions or use force against each other.

Trump's change of heart on Netanyahu comes after a recent Axios report revealed an expletive-laden exchange between the two leaders, with Trump accusing Netanyahu of being ungrateful and 'crazy'.

However, Trump now thinks of Netanyahu as a 'warrior', saying 'they should give him credit' and calling him 'warrior PM'. Israel's continued operations against Hezbollah in Lebanon are already ruining the terms agreed upon in the MoU between the US and Iran.
