With the 2026 FIFA World Cup underway, many customers were unable to watch football matches, leading to a flood of complaints on social media. Users took to Downdetector's comment section to express their frustration, with some joking about the common solution offered by Spectrum – a hard reset.
However, some users found workarounds to the issue, suggesting that downloading the Telemundo app and signing in with Spectrum within the app could resolve the problem. Spectrum acknowledged the outage and promised to restore services by 10:00pm PT (1:00am ET).
