President Donald Trump was at the center of two high-profile meetings on Tuesday afternoon, amid concerns around his health. A report claimed Trump may be taking an experimental weight loss drug called retatrutide, made by Eli Lilly, through the FDA's 'compassionate use' program.
The White House quickly shot back at the report, with Kush Desai, White House deputy press secretary, clarifying that the application was not for the President. However, a viral video of Trump having difficulty breathing while talking to reporters resurfaced the rumors.
Senator Ted Lieu of California attacked the White House over the report, asking them to 'come clean' about whether Trump received the special drug.
