Carlson, a personal friend and ally of Vance, noted that the vice president has no real policymaking authority and serves under a president with low character.
This is not the first time Carlson has expressed remorse over his previous advocacy for Trump. He previously confessed to feeling tormented by his role in the Trump administration and offered a public apology for misleading people.
