The US military has carried out 'additional self-defense strikes' against multiple targets in Iran, including western Tehran, Fars province, Bandar Abbas, and Qeshm.
The strikes come after US President Donald Trump warned of 'hitting Iran hard' and his war secretary Pete Hegseth said the US would bomb 'key facilities' in Iran.
The targeted sites include Bandar Abbas, which was hit on Tuesday, as well as other towns such as Gorgan, Sirki, and Minab.
Air defence systems were activated in western Tehran and Fars province, according to Iranian local reports.
