Comcast's Xfinity cable service is down for thousands of people in the United States on Monday afternoon, with over 12,000 users reporting the outage.
The outage seems to be concentrated in New Hampshire, Texas, Delaware, Wyoming, and Maine, according to the outage map shown on Down Detector.
According to Down Detector, 77% of customers reported issues with cable TV services, 12% with broadband internet, and 8% with TV streaming.
The outage map showed that urban centers across the country were affected, including cities in the east and west coast, north and southern states, and parts of central US.
Comcast has not acknowledged the issue as widespread, but the Xfinity support team is responding to queries on social media, asking customers to message them their service ID.
Xfinity is one of the largest cable and broadband services in the US, serving around 11.27 million traditional cable TV customers and 31.25 million broadband users.
