Senior Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut has alleged that some MPs are being lured with massive financial inducements to switch sides.
Raut claimed that some MPs were promised ₹50 crore with ₹15 crore as an advance.
The allegations come amid speculation over a possible split in the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena's Lok Sabha unit.
Party issues whip to all nine MPs, asking them to attend a meeting scheduled for Thursday.
The situation has prompted senior Sena leaders to rush to New Delhi, with some MLAs also in touch with the Shinde camp.
