8 Arrested in Ram Mandir Donation Scandal: Who Are They?

Eight people have been arrested by Uttar Pradesh Police after a special investigation team submitted a report to the state government. The arrested individuals include bank employees, a close aide of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, and others involved in the donation-counting process.

The arrested individuals include Ram Shankar Yadav 'Tinnu', a close aide-cum-chauffeur of Champat Rai, and his relatives Manish Yadav and Lavkush Mishra. Others arrested include Anukalp Mishra, Subhash Srivastava, Karunesh Pandey, Ramashankar Mishra, and Avinash Shukla.

According to the police, five to six of the arrested were bank employees who were deployed for counting cash donations received at the temple and were drawing salaries from the bank.
