A 25-year-old tribal youth, Sajeev Kumar, died after an ambulance carrying him was stuck in a traffic block at Kerala's Attappady ghat section for over an hour.

Kumar, who had been admitted to the Attappady Tribal Taluk Speciality Hospital with a high fever, was shifted to the Medical College Hospital in Thrissur for advanced treatment.

However, due to the traffic block caused by a fallen tree, the ambulance was delayed, and by the time Kumar reached the hospital, his condition had worsened, resulting in his death.
