Andhra Pradesh deputy chief minister Pawan Kalyan has shared his thoughts on the emergence of the Cockroach Janta Party, describing it as part of a recurring cycle in which every generation seeks to redefine politics and society.
According to Kalyan, generational shifts in political thinking have always existed, and every 25-30 years, a new generation comes up with their own aspirations.
He also emphasized the importance of understanding the reasons behind the frustration expressed by younger citizens, saying "Somehow, why they are angry, you have to look at it."
Kalyan referred to the Cockroach Janta Party by name, saying "Cockroach is the one which stays in gutter… that means maybe I can understand the pain."
He also shared a personal conversation with his son, who told him that many of his friends are interested in such movements but may not always turn into visible activism.
Kalyan concluded that the issue is not just about being active, but about showing dissent and wanting politics to change.
