BMRCL has successfully rectified a technical issue at Cubbon Park Metro Station, allowing normal services on the Purple Line to resume.
The disruption, which occurred on Tuesday evening, caused heavy crowding at several metro stations, including Cubbon Park and MG Road.
Commuters were forced to seek alternative modes of transport, but services have now been restored as per the regular timetable from 5 AM today.
BMRCL thanked passengers for their patience and cooperation during the temporary service disruption.
