A disturbing incident of road harassment in Bengaluru has led to the arrest of three men. According to reports, the incident occurred on Thursday night, with a video shared on social media platform X capturing the men on a two-wheeler harassing a woman rider for several kilometres. The arrested individuals, identified as 19-year-old Roshan, 19-year-old Ayan, and 18-year-old Rihan Khan, were remanded to judicial custody after an FIR was lodged by the SG Palya police station. The bike allegedly involved in the incident has also been identified. Eyewitness Abhinav Vasudevan shared the video on X, stating that he intervened and the men fled the scene. In a separate incident, a 46-year-old man has been accused of misbehaving with a woman co-passenger on a Namma Metro train in Bengaluru. The woman shared a video recounting the incident, alleging that the police were lenient towards the accused, despite authorities rejecting her claim. The incidents have sparked concerns about public safety and the need for stricter measures to prevent such harassment. As investigations continue, authorities are working to ensure that those responsible are held accountable for their actions.
