A chilling incident of rape and murder has shaken Rajasthan's Bikaner, where two labourers allegedly attacked an 18-year-old woman in her own home. The victim, who had invited the labourers for tea with her mother, was brutally assaulted and thrown into a water tank when her mother intervened. The woman's cries for help were heard by the locals, who found her lifeless in the tank. The police have formed teams to apprehend the accused, who are still at large. An FIR has been lodged under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, and the victim's body has been sent for autopsy. The police are urging anyone with information about the accused to come forward and assist in the investigation.
