Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Nitin Nabin has warned against 'negative politics' as a youth-led protest, under the banner of Cockroach Janta Party, demands the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
The protest, which took place at Delhi's Jantar Mantar, was called in response to recent exam lapses, including the NEET paper leak and CBSE OSM chaos.
Nabin said that India's youth will not move forward as 'puppets' in the hands of a few people and will engage in positive politics, opposing on the basis of democracy.
The CJP, a mock political party, has set a seven-day deadline for Pradhan's resignation and threatened a nationwide agitation if no action is taken.
Nabin also praised India's youth for their innovation and creation, citing the emergence of around two lakh startups and the country's aim to become a global IT hub.
