Union Home Minister Amit Shah attacked the DMK and Congress for blocking the passage of the women's reservation bill in Parliament, alleging they have betrayed women of the country.

Addressing an election rally in Tamil Nadu, Shah vowed that the BJP would ensure justice and pass the bill.

He claimed that the DMK-Congress combine avoided the passage of the bill with an evil intent, and the BJP would not allow this act of conspiracy.

Shah also accused Chief Minister MK Stalin of prioritizing his son's succession over the state's development.

Meanwhile, Congress MP Manickam Tagore questioned the BJP's hesitation in implementing the 33% reservation across all constituencies.
