The BJP and Congress are locked in a heated battle over land grab allegations in Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh. The Congress has accused MP Chief Minister Mohan Yadav of being involved in a land scam in Ujjain, while the BJP has targeted Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and his son Priyank over a trust owning land in Karnataka.

The Congress claims that Mohan Yadav's family increased its land holdings by 168 acres since he became the Chief Minister, with the land assets benefiting from infrastructure push and changes in land use. The party has sought a judicial probe into the land purchases in Ujjain.

On the other hand, the BJP has alleged that Mallikarjun Kharge and his son Priyank used their power and influence to grab land in Karnataka through the Siddharth Vihar Trust. The trust was granted 5-acre land by the Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board in 2024, but no research and development activities were undertaken on the land.
