A CCTV footage has led to the arrest of a businessman's fiancée and her boyfriend for his murder at Lohagad Fort in Pune, Maharashtra.
Ketan Vishal Agarwal, 25, a director of the Success Group, was initially reported to have died in an accidental fall on June 18, but his family raised doubts over the theory.
Investigations revealed that the couple, Siya Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary, were in a relationship and had conspired to eliminate Ketan, who was engaged to Siya.
Chaudhary was arrested first, followed by Siya, who allegedly confessed to the crime during sustained interrogation.
The police found that Chaudhary had tried to avoid detection by leaving his mobile phone at his residence, and the couple had planned to kill Ketan during a Lohagad trek, which was Siya's second attempt to kill him.
