The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced a special assessment scheme for Class 10 students in the Middle East, following the cancellation of remaining board exams due to conflict.
The board will not hold fresh examinations, instead declaring results using formula-based evaluation, calculating marks from already taken papers and applying averages of best-performing subjects.
Students have been divided into five categories based on the number of exams they appeared for, with results for those who took all papers based on their performance in those examinations.
CBSE has made it clear that results prepared under this scheme will be treated as final, with no additional or special examinations conducted outside the second board exam cycle.
Results for students in the Middle East will be declared along with those in other regions, with students having the option to improve their scores through the second board examinations scheduled in May.
