Chetan Chaudhary's lawyer, Advocate Ram Shahane, has denied concrete evidence against the accused in the murder case of Pune businessman Ketan Vishal Agarwal.

Shahane stated that the FIR does not describe Chaudhary's role in the crime and that the allegations against him are 'not concrete in nature.'

Chaudhary, 22, was arrested along with his girlfriend Siya Goyal, 20, in connection with the murder case on June 18.

The police had found CCTV footage from the foothills, a hoodie, and over 2,000 calls exchanged between the two accused, which strengthened the allegations against the duo.

However, Shahane claimed that Chaudhary's role in the crime is not described in the FIR and that he has been implicated solely because he is Siya's boyfriend.

The police had also revealed that Chaudhary had reached the site before Siya and Ketan Agarwal and had attempted to avoid detection by leaving his mobile phone at his residence.

The duo has been sent to police custody for seven days, and the case is still in its initial stages.
