Chhattisgarh's cabinet has approved the listing of the state-run power transmission company on the stock exchange through an IPO, aiming to encourage farmers to shift from paddy cultivation to alternative crops.

The cabinet has also approved a revamped version of the Krishak Unnati Yojana, providing ₹15,000 per acre in input assistance to farmers cultivating pulses, oilseeds, and other kharif crops.

The decision aims to promote crop diversification, increase farmers' income, and reduce dependence on paddy cultivation.

Other key decisions include transferring the yoga subject to the Medical Education Department, sending consent for a Direct Debit Mandate under the Payment Security Mechanism scheme, and introducing RFID tags and vehicle tracking systems for mineral transportation.
