Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke has accused the government of refusing to disclose the reason behind blocking his X account in India.

During a review committee hearing, Dipke was told that the blocking order was confidential, and the ministry could not share the specific tweets deemed objectionable.

A senior IT Ministry official later claimed the account was blocked due to alleged links between the outfit and Pakistan, a claim also made by BJP leaders in the past.

Dipke has moved the Delhi high court against the government order and has been granted a chance to present his case before the Centre's review committee.

The CJP has been holding a round-the-clock protest at Jantar Mantar since June 20, demanding accountability from the government over examination-related issues.
