New Delhi, In a bold statement, Sikyong Penpa Tsering of the Central Tibetan Administration said the world will have to wait and see whether communism outlives the Dalai Lama or vice versa.
Referring to China's alleged assumption that the Tibet issue will die with the spiritual leader, Sikyong Tsering made the remark during an interactive event at the India Habitat Centre.
He criticized China's policies that impact Tibet and said the Dalai Lama is committed to live long, perhaps for 130 years.
The process for choosing the successor starts when the Dalai Lama is 'ready to leave', not from now, the Sikyong explained.
He sent a message to the Chinese, saying the Dalai Lama is committed to live long, and so the world will have to see whether communism outlives the Dalai Lama or vice versa.
