A disturbing video has surfaced online, showing the moment a fire broke out at a nightclub in Goa, India, killing at least 25 people. The footage, captured by a witness, appears to show a belly dancer performing on stage when flames suddenly erupt from the roof. Panic sets in as the performers rush to evacuate the area. The fire spreads rapidly, engulfing the club. According to reports, the blaze occurred at Birch by Romeo Lane in North Goa's Arpora, around 12:04 am on Sunday. The Goa chief minister, Pramod Sawant, has ordered a magisterial inquiry into the tragedy, which claimed the lives of four tourists and 14 staff members. An FIR has been lodged against the nightclub's owner and general manager, who will be arrested, pending further investigation. The owner, Saurabh Luthra, has been identified as the man behind the establishment, which has faced disputes with land owners and business partners in the past. Eyewitnesses have described a heated argument between Luthra and his business partners, which had led to complaints against the club. The Arpora village panchayat head, Roshan Redkar, confirmed the disputes, stating that they had raised concerns about the establishment. The cause of the fire is still unknown, and an investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
