A chilling tale of stalking, threats, and violence has unfolded in Gurugram, where a woman was shot inside a nightclub by a man who had been repeatedly rebuffed in his marriage proposal. The accused, Tushar Choudhary alias Jonty, had a history of harassment and intimidation, which escalated into a deadly attack. According to police, Tushar had opened fire at the victim's home on November 19, narrowly missing her husband and their six-year-old son. Despite repeated pleas for intervention, Tushar continued to stalk and threaten the family. The victim, a 25-year-old dancer, had been working at Club 18 in Sector 28 on MG Road, where Tushar, a regular patron, befriended her eight months ago. However, trouble began when she rejected his marriage proposal, leading to a pattern of harassment and threats. On December 19, Tushar and his associate, Shubham alias Johny, allegedly traveled from Delhi to meet the victim at the club. After she refused his proposal for the second time, Tushar pulled out a pistol and shot her in the abdomen. The attack was captured on CCTV, which showed the victim initially unaware of the gravity of the situation before fainting and bleeding. The victim is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital near her Delhi residence, with doctors confirming that several of her organs were damaged. The accused and his associate have been taken into police custody and are being questioned. This disturbing case highlights the dangers of stalking and harassment, which can escalate into violent attacks.
