Union Health Minister J. P. Nadda held a high-level meeting to review dengue and malaria preparedness ahead of the monsoon season.

He emphasized the need for early preparedness and a proactive public health response to effectively manage dengue and malaria.

Nadda directed all states to strengthen surveillance systems for early detection of cases and outbreaks and instructed hospitals to remain fully prepared.

He called for intensified vector control activities and public awareness campaigns to educate citizens on preventive measures.
