India has expressed concern over renewed attacks in West Asia and called for de-escalation, urging all parties to conclude talks for a diplomatic solution.
The call comes after tit-for-tat strikes by Iran and Israel, with Iran launching missiles at northern Israel following Israeli attacks on Beirut.
Even as Iran halted its military operations, it warned of a 'more crushing' response if Israel resumed strikes on Lebanon or Iranian territory.
India's external affairs ministry noted that the conflict has lasted over 100 days, causing 'immense human suffering' and a 'debilitating impact on the global economy and energy supplies.'
Indians in Israel have been advised to exercise caution and avoid non-essential travel, while those in Iran have been urged to exit the country.
