Bollywood actress Kajal Aggarwal has joined the chorus of outrage over the brutal lynching of a Hindu man in Bangladesh. In a passionate Instagram post, she urged the Hindu community to speak out against the violence, warning that silence would only put them at greater risk. 'Wake up, Hindus! Silence won't save you,' her message read. Not alone in their concern, many Indian celebrities have voiced their outrage, calling for an end to the persecution of Hindu minorities in Bangladesh. Actress Janhvi Kapoor described the incident as 'barbaric,' urging people to confront the 'inhumane public lynching' and to condemn extremism in all its forms. The victim, Dipu Chandra Das, a young garment factory worker, was killed by a mob over blasphemy allegations. The brutal murder has sparked widespread outrage in India, with protests held outside the Bangladesh High Commission in New Delhi. Diplomatic ties between the two countries have been strained, with both nations summoning each other's envoys and Bangladesh suspending visa services for Indian cities. Bangladesh's chief adviser, Muhammad Yunus, has condemned the killing, stating that there is no place for violence. However, Hindus in India remain concerned about the safety of their community in neighboring countries, citing threats and violence.
