Kerala Theatre CCTV Leak: Probe Launched Amidst Porn Website Circulation

The Kerala State Film Development Corporation (KSFDC) has initiated an internal investigation after explicit CCTV footage from one of its Thiruvananthapuram theatres surfaced on adult websites and Telegram channels. The grainy visuals, dating back to December 10, 2023, appear to show intimate moments between couples inside the Kairali-Sree-Nila theatres, managed by KSFDC. Managing Director Priyadarshan PS stated that the film body takes the matter seriously and is exploring possible causes, including a cloud breach or hacking. The corporation claims that the Cyber Cell of the Kerala Police is also investigating, but a police officer disputed this, saying no formal case has been registered yet. An internal report is expected within 10 days.
