Telangana Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) has come down heavily on Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for his repeated use of abusive language and failure to deliver on Congress promises. Speaking at Telangana Bhavan, KTR said Revanth Reddy's behavior has diminished the dignity of the Chief Minister's office and exposed his inability to answer public questions. KTR criticized the Chief Minister for resorting to foul language in response to pointed questions from BRS President K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR). KCR had asked why the Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Project was stalled, despite the Central Government returning the Detailed Project Report months ago. KTR alleged that Revanth Reddy's inability to respond to these questions led to his use of abusive rhetoric and personal attacks. The BRS leader also raised the issue of unfulfilled Congress promises, including the six guarantees of a monthly pension, a tola of gold, and other benefits. He questioned why nothing had been delivered two years after the promises were made. KTR also reacted strongly to repeated personal attacks on KCR, saying that as a son and party worker, he could not remain silent. He said that restraint should not be mistaken for weakness and that he chose to speak out of respect for the office, not out of fear. The current situation, according to KTR, reflects a complete mismatch between the office's dignity and the behavior of the individual occupying it. He cautioned that the Chief Minister's actions were a disservice to the people of Telangana and a reflection of his inability to lead effectively.
