West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, calling his 'jhalmuri' election campaign a 'stage-managed optics' and a 'political stunt.'

At an election rally in Bowbazar, Banerjee criticized the arrangements made during Modi's visit, including the installation of CCTV cameras at a shop. She also accused the BJP of attempting to polarize culture and identity.

Banerjee vowed to challenge the BJP nationally, declaring her intent to 'conquer Delhi' by rallying all political parties together. She also raised questions about alleged misuse of technology in polls, asking if the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) had been fixed.

The second phase of the West Bengal Assembly elections is set to take place on April 29, with 142 constituencies going to polls.
